The TOPELE 15 Amp 125 Volt Tamper-Resistant GFCI Outlet is a GFCI receptacle that differs from conventional outlets. In the event of a ground fault, the GFCI will trip and quickly stop the flow of electricity to prevent serious injury.

The product comes with stickers and a wall plate, and it can be used without a ground wire, though it is recommended to have one for added safety. The green indicator light on the outlet will turn off if the power is out, the outlet is broken, or the outlet has reached the end of its lifespan. Pressing the TEST button will trip the device, causing the green light to turn off.

To restore power, simply press the RESET button after the TEST button has been pressed. The tamper-resistant (TR) feature includes a shutter system that prevents the improper insertion of foreign objects, making it safe for children.
