The Multi-Technology occupancy motion sensor switch, designed to detect even the slightest movements like typing and reading, automatically turns the load on and off. This innovative switch offers users the flexibility to adjust the triggering mode and sensitivity levels to suit their specific needs for fine motion detection.

Integrating passive infrared (PIR) sensor technology with ultrasonic sensor technology into a single unit, this dual technology motion sensor enhances both the accuracy and sensitivity of triggering while substantially reducing the likelihood of false triggers. The sensor switch operates optimally when both PIR and ultrasonic sensors recognize the presence of occupants, allowing users to experience precise lighting control with minimal occurrences of false activation or deactivation.

Beyond offering both Auto ON/Auto OFF and Manual ON/Auto OFF modes, this motion sensor switch, known as MWOS, stands out for its user-friendly features and straightforward installation process. It provides four distinct trigger modes, eight timeout settings, a walk-through mode, and adjustable sensitivity levels for both the PIR and ultrasonic sensors. Users can personalize the light activation conditions by selecting from several options: activation when either sensor detects motion, when only the PIR sensor responds, when only the ultrasonic sensor responds, or when both sensors detect activity.

The switch includes 8 AUTO OFF timeout settings, which range from a 5-second test to 30 seconds and extend up to 10, 15, 20, 25, and even 30 minutes. Additionally, users can enable or disable a Walk-Through Timeout Mode. In this mode, if no movement is detected within 30 seconds after occupancy is sensed, the lights will turn off automatically after just three minutes.

With the built-in light level sensor, MWOS ensures that the load remains OFF even when motion is detected if the ambient lighting meets the user's specified light level. When operating under the OCC occupancy sensor mode, the switch activates the lights upon detecting movement.

This dual-technology motion light switch is particularly well-suited for environments where fine movements are common. It effectively combines PIR and ultrasonic sensors to reduce false positives, ensuring lights do not turn off unexpectedly in spaces like private or executive offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, libraries, classrooms, and similar areas where limited movement may otherwise cause disruptions.

Users are afforded customizable settings, allowing them to modify parameters such as time delays, detection ranges, and light levels. Moreover, the switch supports both occupancy and vacancy modes, facilitating a change between different PIR and ultrasonic trigger configurations to meet dynamic usage demands.

For installation, a neutral wire is required. The switch is designed for single-pole use only and is compatible with voltage ranges of 120/277VAC. It can manage incandescent loads of up to 800W, covering up to 1200 square feet for major movements and 400 square feet for minor movements. This product is UL listed and comes with a decorative wall plate to complement your space.
